As a software architect with more than 10 years experience in the Smalltalk and OOD arena, I am currently fighting to get a Seaside server running. The many negative experiences and frustrations deriving from this task are the reasons to publish my experiences, opinions and critics primarily in order to help others and also in order to improve future versions of the Seaside software.
However, this blog will not only cover Seaside alone but it will also discuss many aspects related to proper object oriented programming in Smalltalk. As a veteran in OOD and Smalltalk I can certainly help others improving their design and implementations.
There will be a lot of code examples and at least in the beginning there will be a lot of critics on the implementation of Seaside. More to follow soon.
